Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & Mapping

A GIS, or Geographic Information System, is a computerized database used for the storage, display and analysis of geospatial data for the purposes of decision making. Geospatial data may come from many sources including aerial images, remote sensing, survey, mapping, GPS etc. LN has invested in the advanced technology and related skill sets to capture and deliver high precision geospatial data including feature attributes to all major GIS platforms.

Geographic information systems capture and maintain information such as surface and underground measurements, topographical data and any element that has a bearing on the future development in the region. Finding and defining geographic information is accomplished with sophisticated mapping instruments and aerial photography.
