Aerial Photography
Aerial maps are built by capturing detailed aerial imagery using unmanned drones (UAVs). Aerial photography is used to complete these detailed topographic surveys; in the concept mapping stage of a project and in the process of creating as-built surveys, boundary surveys and other projects requiring a detailed aerial image of a region. At LN, we have extensive experience using aerial technology to create complete GIS maps.
Other GIS components completed by aerial photography include:
- images indicating volume cut & fill calculations
- research for future thematic, road and access maps
- boundary, wellsite and wellhead location surveys
- map plotting, building surveys and precise land surveys
