Topographic Surveys
Topographic surveys use a variety of technologies, such as aerial photography and remote sensing, to provide a detailed picture of natural and man-made features on a parcel of land. This includes buildings, trees, fences, variating landforms and bodies of water. Topographic maps allow builders to plan their projects accordingly around ground relief, which includes drainage details, population, roads and access points, forest cover and other structures on the land.
Detailed topographic surveys are a valuable component of the commercial and industrial sectors’ growth and development.
LN’s topographic maps are used by:
- construction companies planning new housing, or commercial and industrial developments
- real estate companies selling land to development companies
- home owners of large properties seeking property valuation reports
