Mining Surveys
Mine surveys are used by mining companies to obtain a complete report about the challenges, opportunities and risks associated with new mining sites as well as existing projects. These opportunities could include the presence or absence of specific minerals underground that could enhance the value of the region.
Robotic total stations are used in mine surveying to:
- read underground information such as slopes, angles, distance and volume
- document information safely and efficiently
- save and process data obtained from the mine
