Preliminary Engineering Surveys
Preliminary engineering surveys are critical for the success of any project, and are required for any area being considered for development prior to approval of construction. These surveys provide detailed maps and scaled photographs of the terrain in question so land developers can plan their projects accordingly with respect to the materials and equipment required. Engineering surveys are also useful to determine the utility requirements for the intended property, as well as the relationship with existing structures and population.
Preliminary engineering reports depict the following:
- the location of the intended property relative to existing structures
- the environmental resources required to sustain the new development
- population trends in the immediate region
- the potential financial impact of the new development
